CHASEPOINT #13 – Catching and Jigging!
Location: Atlantic Ocean
Timing: Saturday September 6, 2008 – 6:00am to 9:00am
Description: After gearing up in CROCS and some fishing pants, teams pushed off in fishing boats with their newly found Captains – two teams per boat. For the next 90 minutes teams were challenged to catch as much as they could, and that the team who caught the least amount of total weight would be eliminated.
Teams caught a mix of squid, mackerel, and herring. Although many also caught some pretty impressive Cod, it was required that they be released back into the Ocean because the allowable Cod fishing season was not yet open.
Elimination – Team Calgary fell short by 1 pound.
