CHASEPOINT #17 – The Rappel
Location: Cuckolds Cove – Quidi Vidi
Timing: Saturday September 6, 2008 – 12:45pm – 1:45pm
Description: Still reeling with frustration from the Morse code challenge, and exhausted from the technical Cliffside trail run, teams arrived at what would be a highlight ChasePoint for nearly all involved. Hosted by the St. John's Fire Fighters, participants enjoyed a rappel from a 200ft rock face to a boulder beach on the Ocean's edge. After transferring ropes, teams then tackled the physicall demanding ascend back to the top of the 170ft wall.
With both team members complete, instructions were provided to check in at the dock in Quidi Vidi.
