CHASEPOINT #9 – Pub Crawl
Location: George Street
Timing: Friday September 5, 2008 – 9:00pm to 12:00am
Description: After an hours rest and the hopes of a little down time before the mayhem began again, participants were thrown right back into the fire. Chasers would now spend the next three hours doing a pub crawl, Newfoundland style, down on George street.
The Dock – Irish Dancing
First stop, traditional Irish dancing, with some of the best in the world.
With instruction and demonstration coming from some of Shawn Silver top Irish Dancers (www.idance.ca), participants were given an outstanding crash course in the basics. It was then their turn to perform for the crowds!
Bridie Molloys – Celtic Karaoke
Next, the teams moved to Bridie Molloy's, where each team needed to complete a difficult Celtic karaoke performance to the crowds approval.
Martini Bar – Waiter Races
Finally, we squeezed the last ounces of energy out of the teams with a 4 stage waiter race – the perfect Martini, Navigating the dance floor, cocktail bottle tricks, and the flaming shooter.

* - Haunted Sleep
Location: Newman's Wine Vault - St. John's
Timing: Saturday September 6, 2008 – 12:00am to 1:30am
Description: After completing the pub crawl, teams were led to one of the most haunted locations in Canada – The Newman Wine Vaults. In a bit of a good news bad news situation, each team was provided with one pillow and one blanket and given a small section of cold and wet stone floor, to get whatever sleep they were able to muster.
